Offshore and Renewables
We have significant experience working on many of the recent North Sea as well as Canadian offshore projects. We undertake both permanent and temporary structural works. For permanent structure this can include Deck Plate Girders and Nodes, and for temporary structure this can include Load-out Grillages, Transport Frames and Sea-fastenings.
Our capabilities in the offshore sector is to offer fabricated sub-assemblies cost effectively and to rapid programmes, delivering a “kit of parts” to the assembly yard.
We additionally fabricate mechanical structures, which have included LARS (Launch and Recovery Systems) for Work-Class ROVs, J-Lay Tower – and much of its associated Deck Equipment, and an Offshore Wind Turbine Monopile Gripper. We therefore have significant experience of EEMUA and NORSOK specifications, and working with clients third party surveillance organisation such as DNV and Lloyds.
Third-party non-destructive examinations together with in-house inspection and Allerton’s most advanced 3D modelling and surveying equipment ensure all fabrications are proved for workmanship and fit-up prior despatch, and additionally providing “as-built” drawings, giving our clients the end product they expect. We have the facilities to host client and end-user third-party inspectors.
